Our online math workshops are built to introduce teachers and administrators to 9Q Math's methods for making math come alive in the classroom, ending the glazed over look we see in the eyes of so many of our students.
Summer Fun Packets are now here! The packets allow families to count and measure their way through the 9 quantities of the math curriculum, introducing the language used in those seemingly unreadable word problem!
On-site consulting offers teachers the opportunity to introduce the math of their very own curricular materials with concrete activities like weighing a bag of sugar or timing how long it takes to fill a bottle of water.
Our Mission
Beginning with measuring the nine quantities and the natural activities of combining and comparing that arise when measuring, we build activities that make elementary mathematics come alive.
Noticing the relationships that naturally arise when measuring, we build activities that make middle school mathematics come alive. After a few years of measuring, combining and comparing measures, and noticing relationships between measures, the characteristics of those relationships come alive for secondary school students.

What They're Saying About 9Q Math
“Every class, every student, is engaged. Blocks [for measuring lengths, areas and volumes] make such a big difference. They can articulate math with them.”
“Thank you so much for meeting with me today. You lifted a weight from my shoulders. I knew we needed to do something different but didn’t know what it is. Thank you.
”
“My kids aren’t scared of math time anymore!”
